Inspired by the OG “Metallic” Air Jordan 5, this release features a Black textile mesh upper with Off-White’s signature “Shoelaces” branding on the laces along with its text on the inner netting side panel. 3M reflective tongues with a Fire Red Jumpman logo and “23” stitched on the heels atop an aged translucent outsole completes the design.
Virgil Abloh added a second Jordan silhouette to his series of Nike collaborations with the Jordan 5 Retro High Off-White Black, now available on StockX. This release pays homage to the first Jordan that Virgil ever owned, the Air Jordan 5 Black Metallic. In signature fashion, Virgil has reimagined this classic silhouette in a way that embraces the importance of Nike Air technology.
According to zSneakerheadz, wavegod_thelegend, and kickwhoshow, two new Off-White x Air Jordan 5 styles will arrive in February. While an early look has yet to surface, a mock-up photo suggests that standard Off-White details will be featured, including the trademark red zip tie and “AIR” branding printed on the midsole. If the reports prove to be true, this will mark the second Off-White x Air Jordan model to get a retail release.
